Erdina Francillon, founder of the startup Pressy, has spent 10 years in the tech industry, half at Intel and half at Microsoft. As part of her roles in corporate events and partnerships, she experienced the organizational struggle firsthand. For this reason, she came up with the idea for Pressy, a platform that takes the stress out of the party planning process.
Pressy offers party planning services for busy people in large cities, along with a platform that helps event planning professionals expand their businesses with ease. The company is known for its passion to bring a fresh and innovative approach to celebrating togetherness and driving small business growth. Its goal is to provide small and medium-sized party planners with fun, stress-free celebrations that are unique and stand out from the rest. The company promises a smooth and stress-free experience for all customers, and it also provides full support to its sellers to help them grow their businesses successfully. The platform was developed using the best practices in Next.js and relies on MongoDB to store data. It is integrated with cloud services and providers such as GoDaddy, Firebase, AWS S3, and Klaviyo.
